![]() I guess it's OK for one or two bosses to use such abilities extensively, but in Wish, every second ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fight had some mobs that were capable of stun, at least.Īdditionally, I think the story here is weaker than in Avadon. ![]() They're super bad in tabletop RPGs, and they're still bad in computer gamse. Also, I'm kina bad at builds (usually, I just go through the game on Normal difficulty, though sometimes I play on Veteran), so my characters were stunned way, way too often for my taste. Of course, you can protect yourself from stun and charm effects, to some degree, but in the end, RNG will still sometimes bypass all your preparations and force you to become watcher instead of player. Not only it is unnecessary slow because of strange pauses in pain animations, but it's also so full of stun and charm spells which make ANY game very un-fun, because often you just have to sit there, and watch the game play itself for a few rounds. And it's still not a BAD game, just not one I can love as much as I do Geneforge, Avernum or Avadon. But in general, I love Spiderweb Software, and I only wish Jeff the best. The thing is - of all Spiderweb Software games, I like this one the least. My finger hovers over thumbs up and thumbs down button, and I can't decide.
